One of my relatives have a Gateway Profile 3 computer trying to write with a little more on the memory

It has a 512 MB PC133 SDRAM, but is only sample of 256 MB. You can live without the other 256 When there is a hardware limitation, only 256 MB per slot. Most, however, that a warning / error when booting the system memory runs at 100MHz and 133MHz to physical RAM (I have) the exact text of the error. The computer still boots and works fine, but it is a response from the keyboard when you need to wear the boots.
